Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii started on the Big Island in 1989 and has since built a loyal following well beyond the islands. Today, the brand is growing fast, with more than 100 shops in development.
Growth like that puts pressure on the guest experience. Franchisees need to open new stores without reinventing operations each time, and guests need to get the same Aloha Spirit whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth.
So when it came time to choose a technology partner, Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii wanted one provider, one system, and data that connects across the business. They selected PAR POS, PAR OPS, PAR Ordering, PAR Pay, PAR Punchh, and PAR Hardware, with PAR Intelligence built in.
In this interview, Tom shares what that decision looked like from the inside.
